Ozow fees in South Africa
Ozow’s standard card rate is 2.85% or a minimum of R1, for monthly card volume up to R249,999.99. The rate steps down to 2.75% and then 2.65% at higher bands. Capitec Pay, Pay by Bank, and the other bank methods are 1.5% or a minimum of R1. Next-day settlement is included. Instant payouts are a separate R3 charge.

Ozow’s pricing page does not say whether these percentages include VAT. The calculator does not add VAT on top of Ozow. The card minimum of R1 replaces the percentage on very small baskets. It is not added on top of 2.85%.
